The North Carolina Tar Heels announced right before the kickoff of the Holiday Bowl game against Oregon that senior wide receiver Antoine Green would be available only in an "emergency situation."

Green's lower-body injury is to blame, leaving a significant gap in UNC's wideout depth. This news dealt a significant blow to the offense, forcing it to rely on some of its younger players.
