UFC 300 Pereira vs Hill

There will be fights for two championship belts among the many current and previous champions on the 300th pay-per-view show of the UFC, which is being celebrated. Champion after champion appears at UFC 300. The 300th pay-per-view card of the Ultimate Fighting Championship features combatants that serve as a reminder to fans of the brutal and frequently bizarre reality of mixed martial arts. Twelve fighters in the 13 bouts on the UFC 300 card have held a UFC title at some point in their careers. This is a great way to promote the pay-per-view, which can be purchased in the US for $79.99 with an ESPN+ subscription, and it also serves as a timely reminder of how difficult it is to win a title and capitalize on the fame that comes with it. The current light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira, rose to prominence in a bigger class by positioning himself as a counterbalance to Israel Adesanya, one of the greatest names in the sport. After suffering two defeats in 2021, Zhang Weili had to bo

Jalen Hurts, the Eagles' quarterback, has a right shoulder sprain and is questionable for Saturday's game against the Cowboys.

 Eagles vs Cowboys

With a win over the Cowboys on Saturday, Philadelphia can clinch the NFC East, but it may have to do so without its star quarterback.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a sprained right shoulder in Sunday's win over the Bears and it's putting his status in doubt for Saturday's showdown versus Dallas, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported Monday, per sources.

Though it's not considered to be a long-term injury for Hurts, the Eagles' primary goal is for him to be fully healthy when he returns to play, Rapoport, Pelissero, and Garafolo report.

Hurts did not miss a snap during Sunday's win in Chicago, but he did see plenty of rushing action, tying his season-high in carries (17) while scoring three touchdowns. His numbers through the air were less impressive, though, as he completed 22 of 37 passes for 315 yards and two interceptions.

The injury momentarily halts what has been an MVP-caliber season from the third-year pro. Hurts has passed for 3,472 yards and 22 touchdowns (five interceptions) with a 104.6 passer rating this season, while also rushing for 747 yards and 13 more touchdowns.

In Hurts' absence, Gardner Minshew would start against the Cowboys. The veteran has plenty of experience as a starter dating back to his rookie year in Jacksonville and provided two starts in relief last season for the Eagles, one of which was a loss to the Cowboys in Week 18 where he went 19-of-33 for 186 yards, two TDs, and an INT.

"We'll be prepared for Gardner or Jalen," Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said on Monday.

Hurts has led Philadelphia to an NFL-best 13-1 record, a win total the Eagles haven't reached since its Super Bowl-winning campaign in 2017. Monday's news offers the first speed bump in an otherwise tremendous run for Hurts, but the well-rounded Eagles would have a chance to test their mettle against the Cowboys (10-4) and perhaps prove themselves even more as Hurts looks to get healthy.
